HODL Lithograph No.1

Lithograph on paper, 2017

Unique

Sold unframed, aprox. dimensions 30cm x 30cm

HODL is an acronym meaning ‘Hold On For Dear Life’, and has become the defining phrase of the Crypto world. This a lithograph print from a series of prints made in Edinburgh, UK. Only a few lithographs survive from this early print run, as most were recycled to test other print processes. The few that remain are all unique, and signed by hand. The work features Tom Badley’s Gothic ‘HODL’ text and the USD engraving of George Washington.

Lithography is one of the main print processes used in banknote production.
